Hermès Targets Asia and America In The Future
The net profit of Hermès Group in the first half has declined a bit, and the company claimed again that it predicted the full year sales volume would remain stable, and the business performance would drop a little.

The profits in the first half have reduced by 7% to 125.4 million euro, and the operating income has increased by 7.6% to 874.9 million euro. At a fixed exchange rate, the turnover of Hermès is stable compared with the same period last year.
The operating sales volume has reduced by 2% to 199.8 million euro, and the operating benefits had dropped to 22.8% of the sales volume. On the contrary, the operating benefit by the end of last June was 25.1%. Hermès claimed in the report that, “the trend in the first half has remain stable with annual targets of the turnover at constant exchange rates, at the same time, there has been a slight decrease in performance of daily operations”.
The group plans to open or renovate ten or so exclusive stores, mainly in Asia and the United States.
